The VectorMX is an absolute game changer. Featuring a revolutionary light weight design (38 oz.) and super thin profile that raises handlebars by 10mm or less. Despite its small size, the VectorMX offers the same industry leading performance as other MSC Moto steering dampers. This unique steering damper is perfect for Motocross, Enduro, and Desert Racing.
Each steering damper component is CNC machined at the MSC Moto factory in Australia and hand assembled by a team of expert fitters who complete rigorous testing before it leaves the assembly line.
VectorMX fitments include a variety of KTM, Husqvarna, Honda, Husaberg, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Sherco, and Gas Gas models.
- Complete kits with everything required to install
- Full bolt-on mounts (no welding)
- Bar riser included with most models
- Specially designed injection molded bar pad (Top Mount)
- Install directions

“Think about all the times your bars went sideways on trails over rocks, in sand, or while crossing murky water. Humans can only react so quickly. These units are adjustable without tools, so you can dial them in to the terrain you’re facing on the fly.."

"After turning the handlebars back and forth for months, forcing the VectorMX into high stress movements, it never broke seals. I’ve used the VectorMX for a longtime now and I feel like my money is well spent, it hasn’t skipped a beat.”

"It mounts right below your handlebars, and increases the height of the bars by less than 10mm…you’ll be a lot less fatigued, especially on longer off-road stints, as the steering damper will do a lot of work in keeping the bike stable as you run over small rocks and bumps"

VectorMX steering dampers are built to outlast the competition in any environment. CNC machined from ultra-high quality materials.

Physical dimensions are critical for any steering damper. Bike owners need a compact design in order to avoid making heavy adjustments like welding or cutting the frame during installation.
VectorMX steering damper kits are bolt-on and do not require any permanent changes to the motorcycle. Depending on the bike steering dampers fit either above or below the handle bars.
Under bar mount kits raise the handlebar approximately 25mm. The down under kit is best suited for riders who like their handlebars raised for long distance off road riding. The additional 25mm bar height is also a great bonus for riders who are over 6ft.
When it comes to steering dampers. The return to center damping circuit is a critical component. All MSC Moto steering dampers include Active RTC technology, which takes this control feature to another level.
Active RTC offers the best of both worlds when it comes to return to center damping options. The Active RTC calculates, based on the riders input, if the bike needs ‘zero’ damping on return to center or if they need ‘full’ damping on return to center.
For riders travelling at high speeds where steering is minimal but stability requirements are high, the damper will provide full dampening on return to center in order to eliminate free play, which gets rid of head shake.
For situations when a fast movements are required, such as a quick counter steer back to center in order to avoid an obstacle, the oil will bleed off and bypass the dampening unit, providing a dynamic system that gives the rider zero damping on return to center.
If the rider needs to make a fast counter steer movement back to center in order to avoid an obstacle when a trail tightens up, or fast movements are required, the oil will bleed off and bypass the dampening unit, providing a dynamic system that gives the rider zero damping on return to center.
Active RTC technology is pressure sensitive and only applies when needed so no adjustment is required.
The unique 20 position adjuster system allows riders to set how set how firm or soft they want their handlebars to turn. The large, stainless steel knob is easy to adjust with adventure gloves. Once the rider selects a setting, the Active RTC technology kicks in.
